About Allison

Allison Feuer is a designer with a natural eye who can thoughtfully improve or create the property of your dreams. Styling, whether with clothes, props, furniture or flora, is in her blood. She spent years as a freelance wardrobe and prop stylist for some of the world’s most recognized brands. She then brought her sense of texture, color and form to her lifelong passion for gardening, and earned a landscape design certificate from the New York Botanical Garden. For Allison, a garden is about more than lush plantings. It connects her to her father and grandmother, both avid gardeners, and to the soil itself. After identifying and focusing on each client’s specific goals, she continues to bring her unique combination of refined style, sophistication, and principled gardening knowledge to design elegant, thoughtful properties that get better year after year.

Allison Feuer Design is a full-service residential landscape design studio based in Westport, Connecticut. We guide every project from first concept through installation, with hands-on project management at every stage. We work alongside a trusted network of builders and craftspeople.

Everything starts with design, for a single garden or an entire property. That might mean renovating an established landscape or shaping one around a newly built home. From there, the work takes many forms. There are places to gather, like pools, patios, pergolas, outdoor showers and water features. There are wilder landscapes, like meadows, pollinator gardens and green roofs. There are quieter gardens, from shade gardens and white gardens to low-maintenance plantings. And there are working gardens, with vegetable garden structures and beds of cut flowers. Every project is a true collaboration. We value the trust our clients place in us, and we work side by side with them to create the landscape they’ve always imagined.
